La vi en rose

So today I wore one of my favorite outfits of all time! I've been feeling inspired by Paris fashion so much lately (and part of this is from reading the book "How to be Parisian Wherver you are" by Anne Berest, Audrey Diwan, Caroline De Maigret, and Sophie Mas), and I love how classy a Parisian can be with just a trench coat and a dress or even plain jumper underneath.
A classic rule to Parisiennes when dressing to go out is "less is more." Simplicity with the right prieces can work wonders for you on a day to day basis. You also don't need to splurge on high fashion pieces just to feel "classy."
"All you need is one signature item: the one you wear when you need to feel strong.”
For me, this is my double breasted wool coat that I purchased at h&m for only $30. The fabric is thick and the pockets are well stitched together which is super convenient for me because I can finally carry my phone and keys in those large pockets without worrying that it'll fall through some hole in the pits of my pocket.
I paired this coat with some knee high boots, a black turtle neck over a shift dress, and my newest aviator glasses that I got online (my hair style is actually non related to Paris, it was inspired by my beautiful mother who's always classy as well, no matter what she does or where she goes <3).
To me, long coats like these are a key essentail for anyones wardrobe. It ensures sophistication and elegance. Tailed blazers, trench coats, double breasted wool coats, or any kind of long coat will always be versatile! Xx-Nikka
